Salary Range: $79,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Byron Center that are seeking Supplier Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies and procedures.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define supplier quality requirements for new product development.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics and trends.
• Manage the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Provide technical expertise and support to suppliers for process improvements and problem-solving.
• Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949) and industry quality tools (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Proven ability to conduct supplier audits, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
