Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Portage that are seeking skilled Shop Foremans. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train shop floor personnel on manufacturing processes and safety protocols.
• Schedule and prioritize production tasks to meet manufacturing deadlines and customer orders.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards for manufactured products.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in manufacturing, with 2+ years in a leadership role
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team leadership and collaboration

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in CAD software for reviewing designs
• Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., welding, machining)
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior technicians
