Salary Range: $53,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead and train a team of shipping and receiving personnel, fostering a productive work environment.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to optimize material flow.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies for material handling.
• Operate and maintain various material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies and address any related issues.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) beyond basic data entry.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using various material handling equipment beyond forklifts (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers, reach trucks).
• Ability to analyze shipping costs and negotiate with carriers to optimize freight expenses.
• Experience with international shipping regulations and customs documentation.
