Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holt that are seeking skilled Quality Inspectors. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating appropriate disposition processes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, ensuring proper calibration and care of inspection tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to use various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQI, CQA).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting GD&T.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
