Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement software solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct testing and validation of applications to ensure functionality and performance.
• Create and maintain documentation for application design, development, and usage.
• Train end-users on new applications and provide ongoing support.
• Analyze application data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative technical solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing and understanding mechanical designs.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems.
