Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Allendale, MI
Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Allendale seeking Bookkeeper / Office Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial and administrative records.
- Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, preparing financial reports as needed.
- Handle confidential information with discretion, including financial data and personnel records.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience with bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and general ledger management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all levels of staff and external vendors.
- Experience with general office administration duties, including supply management, record keeping, and basic HR support.
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry operations and related financial processes is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Familiarity with inventory management principles
- Experience with payroll processing software (e.g., ADP, Paychex)
- Prior experience supporting sales or production teams
