Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking EHS Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training to employees at all levels.
• Manage hazardous waste and chemical inventory programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS into business operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are highly desirable.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Enablon).
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
