Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Estimators who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to gather necessary data for estimates.
• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
• Present estimates and proposals to management and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an estimating role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and estimating software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with automation technologies (e.g., RPA)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
