Salary Range: $77,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and procedures.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide EHS training to employees at all levels of the organization.
• Manage hazardous waste disposal and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of emergency response plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application to EHS processes.
• Familiarity with specific regional or international EHS regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector (e.g., EU REACH, UK HSE, etc.).
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor EHS teams, fostering a strong safety culture.
