CNC Machinist | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operation, tooling, and programming.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work holding devices.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• Experience with various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.) and inspection techniques.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and tool changes.
• Knowledge of different materials and their machining properties.
