Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug CMM programs for complex manufactured parts.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Select appropriate probes, fixtures, and measurement strategies to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections using CMM.
• Optimize CMM programs for efficiency, cycle time reduction, and data output.
• Troubleshoot CMM equipment and program issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of CMM programs, inspection results, and calibration data.
• Train and support production personnel on basic CMM operation and data interpretation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and probe systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot CMM programs and measurement issues.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
