Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Newaygo that are seeking skilled Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
- Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
- Develop and revise calibration procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance.
- Analyze calibration data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to calibration intervals.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibrations in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in using various calibration equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, temperature baths).
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated calibration systems.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to interpret and apply advanced metrology concepts.
- Experience with Gage Management software (e.g., GAGEpack, IndySoft).
