Calibration Technician | Allendale, MI
Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Allendale seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment.
- Document calibration results and maintain accurate records in accordance with quality standards.
- Develop and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and external regulatory requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibrations in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in using and troubleshooting a wide range of test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators).
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and GxP/ISO 17025 standards.
- Ability to interpret technical documents, schematics, and calibration procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with automated calibration systems.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements.
- Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments to test equipment.
