Salary Range: $52,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Rockford that are seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate AP records.
• Generate customer invoices and statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments to vendors.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations for AP/AR.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of cost accounting principles relevant to manufactured goods.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI) for financial insights.
