Salary Range: $63,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Lansing region seeking Demand Planners. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for a portfolio of products.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management to gather market intelligence and inform demand plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and identify root causes for significant deviations.
• Adjust forecasts based on real-time order intake and inventory levels.
• Participate in S&OP meetings, presenting demand plans and highlighting key assumptions and risks.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or a similar analytical role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop accurate forecasts.
• Strong understanding of statistical forecasting methods and inventory management principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, o9 Solutions)
• Proficiency in SQL or other data querying languages
• Project management experience, particularly in supply chain optimization initiatives
