Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Facilities Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations for the facility.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facilities services, supplies, and repairs.
• Lead and develop a team of facilities technicians and support staff.
• Plan and execute facility renovation, expansion, and relocation projects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Bonus Qualifications

• LEED Green Associate or similar sustainability certification.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) beyond basic data entry.
• Experience with facility security systems and access control.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
