Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed First Article Inspections (FAIs) of manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
• Verify dimensional accuracy using various precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and CAD models to ensure compliance.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and other quality records.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformances, escalating issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and improve product quality.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment according to established procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 standards.
