Inventory Control Manager | Caledonia, MI

Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Caledonia that are seeking Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Oversee cycle counting and physical inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow.
• Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in inventory control or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and improve inventory control processes.
• Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS certification (CSCP or CPIM)
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and regulations
