Plant Manager | Otsego, MI

Salary Range: $141,000 - $192,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Otsego that are seeking skilled Plant Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets and cost efficiencies.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and production staff.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles.
• Administer the plant budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, and engineering to optimize production schedules and product delivery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Proven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance
• Strong leadership skills with experience in talent development and team building
