Salary Range: $76,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and work instructions.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor process performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and select new equipment, technologies, and materials for process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all process designs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using statistical tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Experience with Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and other process documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of implementing solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and cost.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
• Proficiency in a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
• Experience with automation technologies (e.g., robotics, AGVs)
