Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allegan that are seeking skilled Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform setup and changeover procedures on presses, including tooling adjustments and material loading.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with press equipment.
• Complete all required production documentation accurately, including run sheets and quality logs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with color matching and quality control
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment
• Proficiency with computer systems for job tracking and data entry
