Salary Range: $57,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery and conventional machine tools.
• Lead the fabrication of complex components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and implement efficient machining processes to optimize production time and material usage.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and programming CNC mills and lathes.
• Expertise in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precision measurements using various metrology tools.
• Strong understanding of material properties, cutting tools, and machining processes.
• Experience in leading or mentoring junior machinists and overseeing production schedules.
