Maintenance Manager | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage the maintenance budget, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts and critical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and maximize equipment uptime.
• Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix) for work order management, preventive maintenance, and spare parts inventory
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA) and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement certification highly preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• CMRP or SMRP certification
• Experience implementing or managing a CMMS system
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with CAD software for facility layout and design
• Bilingual in Spanish
