Manufacturing Engineer | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Delta Township seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement.
• Implement and monitor process control systems to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Lead or support capital equipment projects from justification to implementation.
• Perform time studies and process mapping to identify areas for efficiency improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tools.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotics and automation systems.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC).
