HR Generalist | Newaygo, MI
Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking HR Generalists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and effective communication.
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support organizational goals.
- Conduct HR training sessions for employees and management on various topics.
- Support payroll processing by providing accurate and timely employee data.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience with HRIS platforms and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
