HR Generalist | Mattawan, MI

Salary Range: $60,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Mattawan seeking experienced HR Generalists. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruitment for manufacturing positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401k, and leave management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
• Develop and deliver HR training programs on topics such as harassment prevention and performance management.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and professional development.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
• Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization projects
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
