Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new products and processes.
• Facilitate complex root cause analysis using 8D methodology and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop, implement, and optimize Quality Control Plans, FMEAs, and process documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to enhance product and process quality.
• Provide quality engineering support during new product introduction, process development, and manufacturing launches.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop strategies for defect reduction and process capability improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in advanced quality planning (APQP), FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
• Proficient in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC).
• Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Master Black Belt certification.
• Experience applying advanced statistical modeling or machine learning techniques to quality data.
• Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for real-time quality monitoring.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of Quality 4.0 initiatives (e.g., IoT integration, AI-driven inspection).
