Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions.
- Drive complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions using advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, FMEA).
- Develop, implement, and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) plans and conduct process capability studies to ensure manufacturing process stability and improvement.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering teams to integrate Design for Quality (DFQ) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles early in the product lifecycle.
- Conduct internal and external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to ensure compliance and identify areas for system enhancement.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior quality engineers and cross-functional teams on advanced quality tools and methodologies.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP).
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (8D, A3).
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt with practical project experience.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification
- Proficiency in advanced statistical software such as JMP or R/Python for data analysis and modeling
- Experience implementing predictive quality models or AI/Machine Learning applications in a manufacturing environment
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification
