Salary Range: $83,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation and maintenance of the IATF 16999 Quality Management System.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for internal and external quality issues (8D methodology).
• Develop, implement, and maintain APQP documentation, including FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16999, customer-specific requirements, and company standards.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution, driving closure through cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and analyze key quality metrics (e.g., scrap, rework, customer returns) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training and guidance to manufacturing personnel on quality standards, tools, and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standard requirements.
• Proficiency in automotive core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• Proven experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ability to conduct internal and supplier quality audits, including audit planning and reporting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control plans, and inspection techniques.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Quality) or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
• Direct experience with customer quality portals and complaint resolution in the automotive sector.
• AS9100 or ISO 13485 quality system knowledge or auditing experience.
