Salary Range: $65,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all finishing department operations and personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Optimize production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and output.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing staff on processes and safety protocols.
• Monitor and maintain finishing equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience (X years) in a supervisory role within a manufacturing finishing department.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, powder coating, polishing, assembly).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
• Experience with production scheduling, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to team safety.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with specialized finishing equipment or advanced coating technologies (e.g., robotic painting, powder coating).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems or similar industry standards.
• Advanced user experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
