Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Master Schedulers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and publish the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all finished goods and key components.
• Balance customer demand with production capacity and material availability to optimize inventory levels and on-time delivery.
• Conduct rough-cut capacity planning to ensure the MPS is achievable and highlight potential constraints.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Logistics to align schedules and resolve supply chain issues.
• Monitor MPS adherence, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Perform "what-if" analyses to evaluate the impact of demand changes, capacity constraints, or material shortages on the production plan.
• Manage inventory targets for finished goods and critical components to minimize obsolescence and maximize turns while meeting service levels.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in master scheduling or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain principles, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information clearly.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance analysis.
• Involvement in ERP system implementations or significant module upgrades.
• APICS CSCP certification or other advanced supply chain certifications.
