Salary Range: $56,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Requests for Quote (RFQs), blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to gather technical data and cost inputs.
• Calculate accurate material, labor, and overhead costs for manufacturing processes.
• Develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies for custom and standard products.
• Prepare and submit detailed, professional quotes and proposals to customers within specified deadlines.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all quoting activities, revisions, and outcomes.
• Follow up on submitted quotes with sales and customers to track status and gather feedback.

Recommended Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costing.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and quoting software.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and internal team interaction.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) or dedicated quoting software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or CAD models.
• Familiarity with cost accounting principles or financial analysis.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
