Salary Range: $50,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Manage inventory levels within the shipping and receiving areas, conducting regular cycle counts and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging of outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, verify against purchase orders, and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols within the shipping and receiving department.
• Collaborate with production, inventory, and logistics teams to streamline material flow and resolve issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in using shipping software and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ability to lead and mentor a team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• - Forklift certification
• - Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
