Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust press machinery, including die changes and calibration, for production runs.
• Operate various manufacturing presses to produce parts according to quality standards and production schedules.
• Perform in-process quality checks, inspecting parts for defects and ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on press equipment.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products efficiently and safely.
• Monitor press operations, identifying and resolving any deviations or malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain accurate production records, quality logs, and equipment maintenance documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating industrial presses (e.g., stamping, punch, hydraulic, brake presses).
• Demonstrated ability to perform machine setup, tooling changes, and adjustments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and minor machine maintenance.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CNC programming or advanced machine control systems.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Basic electrical or hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
