Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and stage machinery and equipment for production runs.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and molds according to specifications.
• Perform test runs and first-piece inspections to ensure product quality and machine readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment during changeovers.
• Document setup parameters, process changes, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to optimize setup processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and various hand/power tools.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve equipment issues efficiently.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• CAD/CAM software proficiency
• Robotics operation or programming experience
