Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Newaygo seeking Recruiters who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for a range of manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, and engineering.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to offer for all assigned manufacturing positions.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing plant managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
• Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and facilitate the offer process for successful hires.
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific events, to attract manufacturing talent.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience recruiting for a range of manufacturing roles (e.g., production, engineering, skilled trades).
• Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for specialized manufacturing positions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, operational roles, and relevant industry terminology.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various digital sourcing tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and collaborate with hiring managers.

Bonus Qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing processes, terminology, and common roles (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, CNC, robotics).
• Active network within manufacturing professional communities or trade organizations.
• Experience utilizing specific ATS/CRM platforms common in manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
• Multilingual proficiency, particularly in languages common within local manufacturing workforces.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit for highly specialized or niche technical manufacturing roles (e.g., automation engineers, process engineers).
