Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations, including networks, servers, workstations, and specialized production hardware.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and uptime of critical Operational Technology (OT) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive manufacturing data, intellectual property, and industrial control systems.
• Oversee IT support for production lines and office staff, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes for manufacturing-specific software and hardware.
• Lead IT projects related to factory automation, digital transformation, and system upgrades within the manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to manufacturing data handling.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
• Proven experience managing and supporting manufacturing-specific IT systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT).
• Demonstrated leadership in IT team management, project delivery, and vendor relations.
• Ability to align IT strategy with manufacturing operational goals and drive digital transformation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance requirements in an industrial environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, or specialized ERP modules for production.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, and automation technologies in a factory environment.
• Understanding of operational technology (OT) environments and IT/OT convergence challenges.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
