Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
• Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and manufacturing safety regulations.
• Administer performance management programs, including reviews, goal setting, and talent development initiatives for the manufacturing workforce.
• Coordinate and facilitate mandatory safety training programs (e.g., OSHA, lockout/tagout) and other professional development initiatives.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness for the manufacturing sector.
• Act as a strategic partner to plant management, advising on organizational development, workforce planning, and productivity improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, employee relations, and conflict resolution within a production setting.
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, OSHA) applicable to manufacturing.
• Proven ability in talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies for both hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to partner effectively with operations management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
