Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contract negotiations.
• Procure raw materials, components, and MRO items according to production schedules.

• Ensure all purchased materials meet required quality specifications and compliance standards.
• Resolve supply chain issues, including delivery delays and quality discrepancies.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for purchasing functions.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Proven ability to analyze market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and drive cost savings.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in advanced features of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Specialized knowledge in specific manufacturing commodities (e.g., metals, plastics, electronics, MRO).
• Experience in supplier development, auditing, or quality assurance processes.
