Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Load, unload, and adjust tools and workpieces as required.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine or program issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code for program adjustments and minor edits.
• Strong understanding of various machining materials, tooling, and their applications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in G-code programming and editing at the machine control.
• Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for toolpath generation.
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
