Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative positions within the manufacturing facility.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management, addressing plant-specific concerns.
  • Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., OSHA, FLSA) and company policies, partnering with EHS on safety initiatives and workers' compensation claims.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs, including onboarding, safety training, and skill development specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, assisting with payroll processing and resolving employee inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems (HRIS), generating reports for workforce planning and compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment for production, skilled trades, and administrative positions.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including specific understanding of OSHA compliance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management for an hourly workforce.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems, coupled with strong data management skills.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Understanding of manufacturing operations or production environments
  • Experience with Lean principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs
  • Experience with labor relations or in a unionized environment
