Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and report findings.
• Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analysis for management.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, focusing on production costs and forecasts.
• Identify and analyze cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Ensure accuracy of cost data within the ERP system and related databases.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of dedicated cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel
• In-depth knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex cost data and provide actionable insights

Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with advanced ERP module configuration or implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models for cost analysis.
