Salary Range: $45,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, or grinding machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to optimize performance and ensure quality.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and defects using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC mills and lathes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Expertise in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges).
• Fundamental understanding of G-code and M-code for basic programming and editing.
• Demonstrated experience with various materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastics.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Experience with preventative maintenance or minor troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
• Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to design and fabricate custom fixtures or tooling.
