Salary Range: $39,000 - $59,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory using the inventory management system.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and carrier requirements.
• Load and unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
• Coordinate with production and logistics departments to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of materials.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
• Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory counts.
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS)
• - Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
• - Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• - Familiarity with international shipping documentation and regulations
