Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement welding procedures and specifications to ensure product quality and integrity.
• Oversee welding operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Conduct welding process research and development, evaluating new materials, equipment, and techniques.
• Train and mentor welding personnel, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding process development, optimization, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of various welding processes (e.g., SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, resistance welding) and their application.
• Familiarity with welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME, API) and their implementation.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and interpretation of results.
• Proficiency in welding metallurgy, material science, and defect analysis.
