Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of production operators to achieve daily production targets.
  • Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies on the production floor.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for new hires and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and planning departments to resolve production bottlenecks and optimize workflow.
  • Track and report on key production metrics, including output, scrap rates, and downtime.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to achieve output and quality targets.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team guidance and cross-functional collaboration.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Proficiency with ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
  • Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives or projects.
