Salary Range: $49,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the shipping and receiving department, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Supervise and train shipping and receiving staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Manage inventory accuracy through rigorous receiving, put-away, and cycle count processes.
• Coordinate outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of goods for transport.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, identifying discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Generate and review shipping and receiving reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
• Experience leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to warehouse operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Forklift certification and experience operating various types of lift equipment.
• - Experience with inventory management software and barcode scanning systems.
• - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Basic understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation.
