Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to schedules.
• Manage and motivate a team of production staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
• Maintain equipment and machinery, scheduling preventative maintenance and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.
• Track production metrics, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, sales, and logistics, to meet production goals and customer demands.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations and shop floor management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• - Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems
