Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the transition of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D and production to optimize product manufacturability.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new product introduction.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI issues.
• Define and procure necessary tooling and equipment for new product lines.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation for NPI projects.
• Monitor and report on key NPI metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret and create schematics, layouts, and Gerber files.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Allegro) for PCB design and analysis.
• Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and equipment (e.g., ICT, FCT, AOI, X-ray).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, VBA).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or train junior engineers.
• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) or factory automation.
