HR Generalist | St. Johns, MI
Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking HR Generalists. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Administer full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and status changes.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Process payroll and benefits administration for all manufacturing employees.
- Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data.
- Develop and deliver HR training programs to manufacturing staff and leadership.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA) and HR best practices in a production setting.
- Experience with HRIS (e.g., ADP, Workday) for data management and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and investigations, on a plant floor.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bonus Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization
- Demonstrated ability to analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven recommendations
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
